Serving Dinner or Light Fare
Depending on your event’s nature, you’ll want to serve either a full dinner or light fare. Since the event is from 5 PM to 8 PM, it’s often best to serve lighter options unless the event is a formal dinner.
Create a Flow for the Evening
Planning how your event will unfold from 5 PM to 8 PM is key. Typically, the first hour is reserved for guests to arrive, mingle, and enjoy drinks and appetizers. Between 6 PM and 7 PM, you can transition to your main program, whether it's speeches, entertainment, or activities.
